How Does One Develop Intuition?
Developing intuition is like learning to develop any skill, whether it be mastering a new computer software program or becoming proficient at a musical instrument. That is, the more you use your intuition the better you get at it. Intuition becomes second nature when you practice it. If you use intuition regularly you will develop an "instant knowing." This sixth sense, the hunch, the gut feeling becomes a sure thing and can be trusted and relied on when making decisions.
Fortunately human beings have been sent here with a magnificent inner guidance system. It is really quite simple to find; just ask: "What makes me happy, fills me with joy, or thrills me with excitement?" If you have those feelings about anything at all in your life, that is part of your guidance system telling you what to do.
Just Ask!
Begin each morning by asking God within: "What would You have me do today?" Your guidance may encourage you to call a friend in need, resolve a dispute, begin working towards your hopes and dreams, forgive an enemy, or heal a hurt you may have caused. When you ask for and receive God's guidance you can bring a different response to the challenges you face. You will find that the simple act of checking in daily with your inner guidance works miracles of healing in your life.
